This is the Home Page of the Greater Cincinnati
Killifish Association (GCKA). We are an affiliate member of The
American Killifish Association (AKA) . We are also members of The International Killifish Association. The AKA Homepage
contains links to the pages of American killifish clubs; check for a club in your area.
For more information on aquarist's organizations, check out the listings in Fish Club Central.
This affiliated Killifish Club is organized
for the purpose of learning about killifish, their management, maintenance and breeding.
The club draws its members from Ohio as far north as the Dayton and Columbus areas, from
the Metropolitan Cincinnati area, and from as far south as central Kentucky. For
information about the group and how you can become a member contact Tom
Payne
Meetings of the Greater Cincinnati Killifish
Association are held monthly, usually on the first weekend of the month and varying from
Friday night to Saturday or Sunday afternoons. Meetings are held at members' homes,
alternating whenever possible between the Cincinnati and Dayton areas. Visitors are always
welcome. For information on dates and locations, see Calendar
of Events, below.
Many of our members maintain a variety of fish in addition to killifish, and have interests that encompass other areas of the hobby. This is a list of sites that have proven to contain information or graphics of interest to aquatic hobbyists in general. The list tends to change without notice, just as do the contents of the world wide web.
